Job Listing: Director Real Estate Transactions

The Comcast Cable Real Estate Department is responsible for all transactions over 15,000,000 SF in a portfolio of approximately 4,000 properties in 41 states. On an annual basis the Department manages approximately 150 significant acquisition, disposition and lease transactions and designs and constructs approximately 30 projects. At this time the majority of the work involves leasing. We are seeking someone with 3-5 years experience representing tenants primarily in lease transactions. This is a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone ready to make an immediate impact.

The Department reports to the CFO and offers a clear view of real estate as it supports the business. We are empowered to act quickly. Resource is not an excuse. We work with expert legal, brokerage and construction professionals throughout the country. We spend 80% of our time working deals and 20% making new relationships.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Defining site and size parameters to develop project scope
• Managing field brokers
• Negotiating and coordinating leases
• Preparing financial analyses
• Assisting in the acquisition and disposition of properties
• Tracking progress of transactions in property database
• Preparing written summaries for management approval
• Negotiating economic incentive packages
• Managing incentive programs to assure compliance and full receipt of benefit
• Managing multi-property system swaps/transactions
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with field clients and providers.
