Job Listing: Comm. Credit Analyst
Must have previous underwriting/ credit analysis experience and 3-5 years of solid commercial real estate experience.

The ideal will support all credit review and underwriting functions within the Company. The Senior Underwriter will be responsible for partnering with developers and other finance and credit sources to determine a best case scenario. The incumbent will support the company in determining appropriate financial structures for commercial real estate transactions.
1. Review real estate project data and make decisions regarding credit approval and investment criteria within credit policy established by senior management and state/federal laws.
2. Support development of financial structures for real estate projects within risk and return guidelines established by the company.
3. Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
4. Ensure office cooperation with other departments, to maximize efficiency within the Company.
5. Advanced knowledge of commercial real estate financing including knowledge of credit laws and regulations.
6. Working knowledge of the credit laws and regulations as well as the Company's credit policies.
7. Perform financial statement analysis, credit investigation and exposure evaluation.
8. Provide ongoing evaluation and tracking of portfolio quality through credit review process.
9. Interact with other team members, customers and vendors regarding specific transactions and programs.

Required Skills
1. BS or BA required.
2. Must have previous underwriting experience and 3-5 years of solid commercial real estate experience specifically in the underwriting process.
3. Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
4. Sales skills necessary to develop and maintain productive developer relationships.
5. Ability to independently evaluate and make consistent, quality credit decisions that produce acceptable ratios and returns for the Company.
6. Ability to effectively negotiate contract terms that help meets company objectives.
7. Broad understanding of financial statements and other credit/financial information.
8. Ability to read and interpret business and personal credit reports and information.
9. Ability to work within tight timelines and schedules.
10. Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
