Job Listing: short sale negotiator

Our client, a large mortgage company, is looking for a short sell negotiator.

On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for many processing type functions including reviewing income, titles, and appraisals. The negotiator collects the necessary information to get the borrower approved to liquidate the property for less than what they owe. Once approved for the short sale, the negotiator is responsible for determining and negotiating the sale price with the real estate agent.

To be qualified for this position, individuals should have:

analytical skills and good common sense
mix between loan officer, processor, underwriter
excel experience
2 years processing or entry level underwriting/loss mitigation
attention to detail
positive attitude
very organized

This position is a contract to hire.
