Job Listing: Wireless Construction PM

A global wireless provider is looking for a Construction PM to join there team for the Chicago market. The main role of this person is to manage the maintenance of existing sites and the build out of new sites. The ideal candidate will have the following in there resume.

Site Acquisition
> Manage site search information
> Research available land options that meet SARF criteria and investigate alternative sites.
> Review sites with RF Engineering team
> Negotiate and acquire real estate, easements and other land interests
> Prepare leases, agreements and contracts
> Obtain title reports
> Retain services manage site acquisition contractors
> Evaluate bids
> Manage site acquisition process

Site Design/Modifications
> Complete lease re-negotiations and structural analysis for site modifications
> Prepare site layout with Engineering and Network Operations teams
> Retain services of A&E firms, surveyors, engineers, architects, etc.
> Retain services of Environmental firms to manage compliance.
> Obtain site information surveys and other drawings
> Ensure site design compliance
> Manage site design process and plan preparation.

Site Permit Process
> Prepare applications for local, state and federal permits.
> Prepare and present testimony at municipal hearings
> Ensure necessary permits/approvals are obtained prior to start of construction.
> Manage permitting process.

Cell Site Construction
> Prepare RFQ's for site construction/maintenance
> Solicit and obtain bids from approved contractors
> Evaluate bids and award construction contract
> Create Purchase Requests for construction projects
>Prepare RFQ's for towers, waveguide bridges and other site related hardware
> Evaluate bids and create Purchase Requests for site related hardware
> Coordinate design and delivery of electric and Telephone service
> Create Purchase Requests for BTS equipment and equipment shelters
> Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
> Plan, organize, schedule and manage cell site construction including site work, tower erection, lines and antenna installation, outdoor and indoor BTS equipment installation, shelter installation and microwave pathing in accordance to Cell Site Construction Standards

Project Status and Administration
> Facilitate meetings and conference calls to discuss status of each project
> Track, report and communicate progress on new and modification projects
> Maintain detailed records and files for projects
> Participate in evaluation and approval of in-bound collocation requests
> Monitor and track equipment deliveries and storage

Qualifications
> Associates degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or associated field, or BA in Urban Development, or equivalent

> Three to four years of wireless industry experience in the following fields: Construction, Project Management, Field Operations and /or design experience
