Job Listing: Construction Materials Lab Supervisor

A local, Geotechnical Engineering Consulting firm is actively seeking a Construction Materials Lab Supervisor to join their team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The candidate will be responsible for managing all activities related to operations of the Construction Materials Laboratory in support of the area's construction testing services. The lab performs a broad range of functions including testing of soils, concrete, asphalt and aggregates testing.

Typical job duties include:

- Performing routine field and lab tests and inspections for purpose of verifying conformance to construction plans and specifications.

- Prepare daily reports and data sheets and perform accurate computations

- Responsible for making sure project deadline are met by providing proper scheduling and organization of items to be tested.

- Responsible to ensure that lab technicians are performing the testing, associated paperwork and computations in accordance with the Quality System Guideline Manual and applicable standards.
