Job Listing: Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for running and tracking marketing projects such as the production of selling materials and ads, and the coordination of web and PR activities. This position is also responsible for coordinating department operations including activities such as placing materials orders, processing purchase orders, reconciling the budget, and providing general team support. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Director but works closely with entire marketing department.

SCOPE OF POSITION
The position interfaces primarily with marketing, sales, design and accounting departments. Works closely with agency and/or third party vendors and dealers to coordinate implementation of marketing objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Project Coordination:
- When given a defined project, maps out process, timing and budget for completion. Manages project to that schedule. Reports on progress against milestones. Monitors program results to help evaluate effectiveness.
- Manages inventory and shipment of selling materials.
- Responsible for production of new selling materials (photo shoot and printing scheduling, coordination and budgeting). Creative will be provided by Marketing Manager.
- Responsible for maintaining the website. Keeps information current, executes changes to the site as specified by Marketing Manager or Web Manager.
- Supports PR Manager with key activities including media list maintenance, editorial calendar maintenance, dealer newsletter production, and support with projects as specified.
- Communicates with sales, dealers and outside third parties.
- Fulfills dealer requests for advertising and promotion materials.
- Assists Marketing Director with special projects. Administration
- Organizes and maintains department purchase orders and budget. Reconciles budget monthly with accounting.
- Organizes and maintains resources/marketing library.
- Organizes and maintains images for dealers/customer requests.
- Organizes and maintains misc. marketing department projects as necessary.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job will be considered.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- 2-year degree in related field of study (communication, advertising, marketing, etc.)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Experience working in an advertising dept/agency a plus.
