SALARY RANGE: NB-II    $26,368 to $44,805 per year

                                 NB-III   $36,153 to $61,697 per year



The salary range above includes 3% geographic differential pay.

Major Duties

Uses computers and automated systems to perform a variety of administrative duties using all types of software.  Handles Report of Examination processing. Manages the work flow for the office by prioritizing projects and establishing standard operation procedures.  Uses computer software to create, edit and print reports, spreadsheets, graphic presentations, and a variety of correspondence, and ensures proper format, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and compliance with agency policies and procedures.  Ensures all office equipment is in working order.

Provides office support by answering phones, greeting visitors, distributing mail and filing.  Maintains tickler and tracking files for a wide variety of issues.  Maintains, updates, and purges confidential personnel files.  Creates, maintains, and updates computer-based records and verifies accuracy of data and distributes them to staff.

Is liaison between managers, field office, team, and MIS staffs for administrative reports and/or issues and with meeting facility personnel.  Arranges meetings for internal and external groups, inspects potential meeting sites and finalizes details with vendors.

Communicates and coordinates with bankers any special information requests.

Tracks and maintains schedules of assignments and documents time spent in various categories.  Coordinates and administers recruiting and hiring initiatives, schedules interviews and tests, and drafts correspondence for manager's signature.

Maintains adequate levels of office supplies, serves as primary timekeeper and participates in task forces and with special projects.

The NB-II level requires one year of general experience.  General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.  Two years of successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite or equivalent combinations of education and experience are also qualifying.

The NB-III level requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NB-II.  Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.  Specialized experience is evidenced by performing a variety of progressively responsible administrative and/or clerical duties such as composing correspondence; entering data into automated systems, e.g., databases, and extracting reports; and establishing and maintaining office files.



This position requires typing skill of 40 words per minute.
