Full-time Nurse Practitioner position at the Georgetown, DE Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). Primary care setting caring for adult patients with a wide range of complex medical/surgical conditions.
Major Duties
Full range of nurse practitioner duties in a primary care setting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions; ordering and interpreting laboratory tests;prescribing medications; computer documentation. Incumbent must possess strong patient assessment skills. Individual will work on a multidisciplinary team.

Required Skills
Qualifications
Graduate of an approved school of nursing and an active and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse practitioner from any state or territory. Maintains current certification as a nurse practitioner from the ANA or another nationally recognized certifying body. Must be licensed with prescriptive privileges. Strong patient assessment skills. Works well with the interdisciplinary team.
Graduate of a school of professional nursing. BSN and MSN.
You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.
After appointment, you will be subject to random testing for illegal drug use.
You must have a certification, licensure, or registration credentials in RN License for this position. In some cases, these may be substituted for experience and education.
You will need to successfully complete a background security investigation before you can be appointed into this position.
Applicants for this position must pass a pre-employment medical examination.

Salary Range: 68,872.00 - 99,847.00 USD per yearGrade and salary to be determined by Professional Standards Board.
