Job Listing: Payment Center/Lobby Rep 1

This is a lobby position, and is for the Pittsburgh, PA location, West System. Troubleshoot minor technical difficulties and equipment problems with customers over the telephone and/or face to face in order to reduce service calls and improve customer satisfaction. Enter account information into billing system in order to accurately execute customer orders, schedule installs and trouble calls, and document customer accounts on a daily basis. Reconcile cash to receipts in order to balance cash drawer daily or as needed. Research status of installation and service calls in order to resolve customer complaints; research misapplied payments, mail requests, billing and service adjustments. Meet or exceed departmental telephone response standards to maintain NCTA and FCC requirements. Communicate with customers in order to respond to billing questions; resolve service concerns; provide rate and programming information; initiate upgrade of current service. Take payments, issue, retrieve, or exchange equipment, and resolve billing concerns in order to satisfy customer needs. Explain customer billing in detail to give customers a clear understanding of charges. Explain marketing programs and promotions. Proactively offer all Comcast Products and Services to customers as well as retention efforts. Demonstrates courtesy and patience in customer relations. Perform all other assigned duties. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Required Skills

EDUCATION: High school diploma and 2 to 4 years customer service experience, or Associates Degree and 1-2 years experience, or Bachelors Degree. Comcast is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Drug-free workplace employer. Ability to work overtime, as needed.
