Job Listing: Cross Media Activation Manager
Major Duties and Responsibilities
•Prospect, meet with, and sell to key decision makers (regional marketing managers, brand directors, advertising agency and field personnel) of Regional and National target accounts
Meet with agencies and clients (brand, marketing and promotional directors) as needed to create customized cross media campaigns
•Go on agency and client calls with AE’s and Field Marketing Managers as needed
•Work own current and past clients/contacts in addition to targeting new prospects (Media Monitor) to develop new cross media business
•Responsible for heading up brainstorming discussions with AE’s and other internal resources (marketing, research, AM) to flush out ideas for target accounts and new business clients
•Coordinate with marketing/promotions managers to ensure all network promotions and market opportunities are utilized and coordinated for successful client campaigns
•Direct and manage the development of all sales marketing materials, including presentations, spots, VOD features, POS displays, and on-site events
•Execute and implement all facets of program fulfillment, including rules, contracts, affidavits, prize fulfillment, and budgeting
•Maintain and develop contract procedures; work with traffic departments to schedule spots, post-reports, affidavits, and executive summaries
•Manage the creation and implementation of all customized websites including copy and design
•Write and produce ad-sales tapes and power point presentations, recapping all promotional programs and results for clients
•Coordinate and manage roster of promotional agencies and video production companies to ensure outsourced capabilities for variety of clients, if needed
•Manage assignments to ensure effective use of internal and external resources
•Create performance objectives and ROI for each program
•Create best practices in campaign strategy, development and execution across industry segments
•Generate monthly activity reports and distribute to DOS, RSM and NSM
•Attend all sales meeting and SAM meetings as appropriate
•Meet and exceed annual budget goals.
•Attend, participate, and lead in sales meetings, training programs, and conferences as directed and needed.
•Maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct at all times when representing Comcast Spotlight
Required Skills
Experience:
•5 – 10 years Television/Cable/Radio media sales experience with brand marketing and promotion development and execution experience a plus
•Established senior level contacts within mid to large size clients
•Understanding of avid editing and television production a plus
Education:
•College degree preferred, with studies in Business Admin/Marketing/Sales
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
•Very strong strategic value proposition and presentation skills
•Highly motivated, goal-oriented and strong desire to meet or exceed financial goals
•Exceptional organizational skills
•Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
•Understanding of use of computers including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
