Job Listing: Cobol Developer

Our client is in need of a strong COBOL developer to join their progressive team on a contract basis. The company environment is fast paced and deadline driving.

Qualified individuals are encouraged to apply who have a minimum of 5+ years COBOL and CICS development experience. Health care claims experience is a huge plus not required. Ideal candidates should be comfortable with COBOL and CICS development. ITS experience is highly desirable, but not a must have..

Applicants immediately available are encouraged to apply who are well versed in the Healthcare industry notable healthcare claims as well as, a COBOL/CICS environment. During this contract compensation is determinate upon experience. LOCAL TALENT IS PREFERRED, yet applicants from outside of the area will be considered. All candidates will participate in a technical evaluation in COBOL during the first phase of the interview.

Communication and presentation skills must be excellent. Applicants must be able to successfully pass an EXTENSIVE background check to include credit check, state and county check and ten year employment verification. Hair sample drug test must be passed successfully prior to start date.
