About the Position: his position is located in the Productivity Enhancement Division (PED) which provides mission critical, value-added services in support of integrated HR operationing programs and executes higher echelon policy by developing operational guidance that ensures rapid and consistent application through standard business practices.

Major Duties
As a Human Resources Specialist in the Productivity Enhancement Division (PED) at the Civilian Human Resources Agency, you will assist in the planning, evaluation and oversight of regionalized delivery of civilian HR services Army wide. You will provide functional and procedural guidance in the use of automation tools designed to assist with statistical measurement and analysis of database quality in various HR automated applications. You will plan, conduct and provide staff-level advice as a project manager/team member. You will develop guidance, procedures and standards for new and changing HR program areas. You will use various automated reporting tools and the Business Object Application (BOA) to retrieve reports and provide advice, assistance and training in the use of BOA. You will prepare complex statistical reports using data from various HR databases and prepare briefings and written communications that result from the statistical reports via your analysis.

General Schedule Candidates for this job must show in their resume that they have one year of specialized experience and training that provided: (1) Knowledge of more than one human resources management service such as HR systems modernization and operations, recruitment and placement, compensation, position classification, and human resource development. (2) Skill in applying a wide range of advanced HR principles, concepts and practices to provide consultative service, expert advisory service and policy interpretation. (3) Ability to conduct statistical analyses of data and provide recommendations on business processes. This experience must have included responsibility for providing interpretation and instructions on laws, regulations, policies and procedures and issuing guidance pertaining to HR programs.The experience described in your resume will be evaluated and screened for the Office of Personnel Management's basic qualifications requirements, and the skills needed to perform the duties of this position as described in this vacancy announcement.Your pay will be set within the range specified in this vacancy announcement and will be based on your qualification, education, experience, training, and availability of funds. NSPS positions are excluded from time-in-grade restrictions.Applicants must demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies required to perform the work identified in the duties description. Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at the next lower pay band or equivalent under the General Schedule (GS) or other pay systems. Quality of experience relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background and recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must have the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level.

Salary Range: 69,764.00 - 113,246.00 USD per year
