The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) is recruiting for a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Southeast CBOC - a community-based clinic under the CBOC service line, located at Houghton and Valencia.
Major Duties
Ability to act independently and within the scope of practice.Self-directed, motivated, independent, and able to initiate actions.Function in a team setting and support care providers. Check in patients and update clinical reminders. Collaboratively assess, plan, and implement patient care with team members. Provide phlebotomy.Provide back-up for front desk clerks. Flexibility – ability to change priorities according to.

What To Expect Next:
Upon receipt of the resume and /or application forms, the information will be submitted to the appropriate SAVAHCS hiring managers for review. The applicant ma be directly contacted by on or more staff during the consideration process. The review of the application/resume may be done in several stages as time and schedules or the reviewing staff permits. Tentative notification of selection may be made verbally by the Nurse Recruiter. Any notification of selection should be considered a tentative offer only until all conditions of employment have been met.

Qualifications
Current, full, active and unrestricted registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the U.S. or District of Columbia. The LPN must maintain a current, full, active and unrestricted registration to continue employment with the VA.

2 years Primary Care experience preferred.
