The leading provider of solid imaging solutions is seeking to hire an Embedded Software Engineer. Specifically, Our Client is looking for a Team Player; that is, someone willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Embedded Software Engineer:

Performs Software Programming and assists in the development of the following:

Software Architecture
Implementation Strategies
Algorithms

Assists in the development of Design Specification and Software Architecture documents pertaining to the area of responsibility.
Identifies feasible approaches and related algorithms for software functions, and evaluates them for an optimal solution.
Assists in the maintenance of the applications developed on the MS Windows platform.
Works with other software and processes, as well as Mechanical and Electronics teams to develop software solutions and integrate them into Software Systems.
Applies principles of Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematical Analysis.
Consults and works with Hardware Engineers to evaluate and implement interface between hardware and software.
Supports testing and sustained maintenance of the current Software Systems based upon the feedback of Quality Assurance and customers.

The preferred candidate will be an inventor of sorts, and will have had experience working on lengthy projects. Preferred Candidate will be extremely creative!

Required Skills

Required Skills for this Embedded Software Engineer position include the following:

3+ years of Embedded Software experience with C#/C++ interfacing with Marketing or Field Application Engineering experience; candidate must have Windows Programming Experience.
Solid knowledge of:

Basic knowledge of:

Comment Electronic Control Architecture

Solid (Expert) knowledge of Master C, C++ and low-level Program languages
MS preferred in Electrical Engineering with good programming skill, and/or Computer Engineering with strong EE background. BS candidates will need significant experience working on specified Engineering projects. Preferred candidates will have a BS or MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with Embedded Software Experience.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to:

Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, and familiarity with financial reports, and legal documents
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the Business community
Write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
