A global provider of professional services is currently seeking an experienced Unix Architect to manage multiple projects in a Unix environment. This position is for someone who will work with a dynamic team, but also work independently. This position is for someone who can do what it takes to get the job done!!!
Position Description:

The Senior Level Unix Architect will be helping to plan, organize and transition services and monitor results.
The Architect will be responsible for client relationship building and will be a “go-to” person.
This position is definitely for a strong multi-tasker.

The firm specializes in internal audit, technology risk management, tax and accounting and finance. This is an estimated 6-9 month contract position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Blue Bell, PA. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies on the East Coast.

Required Skills

Required Skills for this Unix Architect position include the following:

5-10 years of work experience
Must be Senior Level
Expert with UNIX implementations
Must be skilled and experienced in the following:

AIX
Linux
HP-UX

Strong multi-tasking ability
Experience implementing and upgrading systems
Proven experience with Full Life Cycle
Experience working in a professional and large-scale environment
Sun Solaris experience a plus
Must be a pro-active thinker and a self starter
