Job Listing: Business Analyst

TEKsystems is recruiting for a Business Analyst for a contract position in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Responsibilities include:

Interacts with business clients to gather requirements and to recommend how these translate into system design and requirements.
-Serves as a link between the business and the technical team.
-Serves as a critical resource or participant in business process re-design activities.
-Assists the business in determining if and how new systems or system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
-Documents business requirements and participates in overall project documentation as required.
-Works with the business and technical teams to manage requests for changes to requirements and specifications throughout the project.
-Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively to business clients and to the technical team.
-Expected to analyze problems of a moderately complex nature and to recommend solutions.
-Works with the project team to determine appropriate test and deployment plans.
-Demonstrates a working knowledge of project management techniques and may participate in project cost estimates.
-Plays a lead role in interacting with business clients to gather requirements and to translate business needs into system design and requirements.
-Demonstrates a strong understanding and knowledge of business functions and processes. Demonstrates the ability to lead process improvement activities and to design or facilitate process changes through the use of technology. Demonstrates an advanced understanding of technical processes, architecture, environments, problems and solutions and how they may be related to business strategies and issues.
-Accountable for process and problem analysis and design at a complex level. Viewed as a consultant to the business and as a critical link between business unit and technical team. Ensures that appropriate documentation is completed.
-Determines how new systems will integrate with existing ones, from the perspective of the business. Ensures that system requirements meet business needs and that the business is able to fully integrate and implement new systems or system features. Ensures that plans are in place for adequate testing and deployment and ensures that any problems are communicated and resolved

We are looking for Business Analysts with 6+ years experience in Retail Banking in Cash Management (SMS integration/implementation, Digital Express, PayPlus)
