Job Listing: Automotive Procurement Specialist

Aerotek is a national recruiting company that is seeking to hire a Procurement Specialist for an automotive manufacturing company in Georgia. This is a direct placement position with our client.

Duties:
- Direct the necessary data collection required for benchmarking, cost analysis, compliance reporting, and price negotiations. Communicate recommendations based on information derived from the benchmarked information
- Identify areas of cost, possible cost reduction, and lead yearly cost reduction activities
- Manage supply chain base for production parts, components and systems through subordinates
- Take charge of cost control for purchased parts and maintain the cost within budget

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills
- Long-term planning and strategy development
- Develop and define priorities
- Prior procurement experience in the automotive industry is preferred
- In depth knowledge of supply chain and accounting processes

Education:
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- Car Allowance
- Relocation package is available
