Job Listing: Construction Project Supervisor

A growing, mid-sized highway construction firm in Indianapolis has an immediate need for an experienced construction project supervisor.

This individual will be on-site managing the installation of construction signs, barricades, and pavement markings. This position is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Major job duties include:

* Managing foremen and field technicians on job sites to ensure work is being done is of a high quality.
* Scheduling and dispatching multiple projects requiring field technicians/laborers.
* Communicating with estimators and project managers to manage job costs.
* Attending industry meetings and organization meetings on behalf of company.
* Hiring, training, and monitoring of field technicians/laborers.

Job requirements and qualifications:

* 5+ years experience managing heavy highway construction or traffic management projects.
* Ability to conduct a workload forecast based on current and forthcoming job opportunities.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Proficient reading and understanding blueprints and job layouts.
* Ability to handle and resolve on-site conflict with contractors.
