Job Listing: CDL Driver

Aerotek Commercial Staffing is currently looking for a CDL Driver for our client. The CDL driver will deliver and pick up rental equipment at various locations in a efficiently, effectively and safely.

Daily duties of the CDL driver will include but not limited to the following:
- Loading/Unloading
- Maintain required paperwork.
- Maintain safe driving record.
- Determine when load is properly balanced, tied down and flagged.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications, and interactions in a professional manner.
- Orient customers on proper use of rental equipment.

Additional CDL Driver Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Possess mechanical ability to drive large rental vehicles.
- Minimum of 2 years operating large semi-trucks and related vehicles.
- Proper loading/unloading techniques.
- Effective safety practices.
- Knowledgeable in local, state, and federal regulations and laws relative to safe and legal operation of a vehicle used for cargo transport.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work in unprotected weather elements.

This position also receives a quarterly bonus. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
