Job Listing: Financial Analyst

TEKsystems has partnered with a large Governmental & Public Sector oriented integrator that needs a Financial Consultant with a background in public sector accounting and knowledge of SAP FI functionality from an applications and implementation perspective.

This role will assist an existing Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Team with FICO oversight and Book-of-Record initiatives as it relates to a large scale SAP implementation. The consultant should also be familiar with Month-End and Year End closing processes related to CAFR and GAFRS reporting.

The ideal candidate will come from an accounting background in a state or local government setting and have been using SAP FI, MM and SD modules. The position requires the ability to track funding and grant appropriation as well as high level interaction with State Government. This role will also entail a consultative aspect that will require in-depth knowledge of SAP functionality to the point of being able to relay functional faults or omissions to the technical team(s), as well as the Government team with oversight responsibility.
