Job Listing: Medical/Life Insurance Underwriter

Our client in Naperville currently has multiple openings for medical underwriters. These positions are contract to hire and pay $18 -$20 per hour based on experience.

On a daily basis the underwriter is responsible for reviewing individual and small group applications and gathering data to determine insurability. Underwriters will be assessing risk and determining premiums.

Qualified candidates will possess at least 5 years of medical or life insurance underwriting experience. Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of individual medical/health underwriting processes/procedures as well as medical conditions and medical terminology.
