Job Listing: Hot Plant Laborer

NEED GENERAL LABORER IN DIRTY WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position involves assisting operators with responsibilities of asphalt product form the hot plant. You will assist maintaining the equipment, working scales, seeing that asphalt loads are moving out of the plant and responsibilities to assure production runs smoothly. You will be supervised and be responsible for FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS. You could possibly be assigned tasks to perform on your own, and you need to be able to lift 20 to 60 lbs.

SKILLS
--Previous experience in fields of construction or related work; experience in a plant environment is a plus.
--Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
--Ability to follow directions and work independently.
--Good communication skills and follow through.
--Willingness to ask questions and learn.
--24 MSHA training (current certification preferred, training available)

Work hours average 12 hours/day, 4-6 days a week.

Must be willing to work day and night shifts.
