Job Listing: Staff Environmental Scientist

Aerotek E&E is currently seeking an experienced environmental scientist for their client located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Client is a nationwide environmental consulting firm.

Responsibilities will include supporting existing projects involving primarily subsurface petroleum impact to soil and groundwater. Duties will include: developing work plans and cost estimates; conducting soil and groundwater investigations, advanced sampling, and pilot tests. Other responsibilities will include overseeing remediation system installation and maintenance. Position will be responsible for some data management and report preparation.

Qualified staff scientist should have the following:

- 2 - 3 years of relative environmental consulting experience, specifically handling soil and groundwater sampling

- Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or other related field.

- Position consists of primarily field work.

Salary range for this position is between $35,000 - $43,000 depending on levels of experience.
