Job Listing: Senior Staff Accountant

Our client company who provides infusion therapy services and specialized clinical programs is seeking to bring on a Senior Staff Accountant onto their team in Gurnee. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing another Staff Accountant as well.

The Senior Staff Accountant responsibilities will be:
-Prepare and post journal entries,
-Complete account analysis and reconciliations
-Complete bank reconciliations
-Perform Fixed Asset accounting and reconciliations between general ledger and fixed asset sub-ledger
-Inter-company balance review and reconciliations
-Review and post payroll entries processed by HR
-Update general ledger payroll posting requirements for HR changes
-Sales commission calculations and reconciliations
-Assist with month end close and consolidation

To be qualified for the Senior Staff Accountant position one must:
-Bachelors in Accounting
-At least five years of experience in a staff accounting role
-Must be able to work independently and also supervise another accountant.
