Job Listing: Senior Staff Accountant

Our client company who provides infusion therapy services and specialized clinical programs is seeking to bring on a Senior Staff Accountant onto their team in Gurnee. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing another Staff Accountant as well.

The Senior Staff Accountant will prepare and post journal entries, complete account analysis and reconciliations as well as bank reconciliations. Perform Fixed Asset accounting and reconciliations between general ledger and fixed asset sub-ledger will be a responsibility as well. Our client has multiple locations so inter-company balance review and reconciliations will be a task also. Reviewing and posting payroll entries processed by HR will be a weekly project and update general ledger payroll posting requirements for HR changes. Sales commission calculations and reconciliations as well as assisting with month end close and consolidation will be a project too.

To be qualified for the position one must have a Bachelors in Accounting as well as have at least five years of experience in a staff accounting role. One must be able to work independently and also supervise another accountant.
