Job Listing: Microbiologist

Aerotek Scientific seeks a Microbiologist for a growing Waukesha area biotechnology firm.

This Microbiologist will be performing microbiological QC testing on raw materials and finished products. This is a role created by the current manager taking on more responsibilities, increasing the need for another person in the lab. The incoming Microbiologist will be targeted for promotion into the management role within 1-2 years, provided the right technical and interpersonal competency.

The successful Microbiologist will have:
- a BS or MS in Microbiology, Bacteriology, or related science
- 1 - 3 years of microbiological testing experience in industry
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- the desire to move into a management role in 1-2 years

Experience in DNA Isolation and PCR is a plus.

This is a 1st shift Microbiology position with a pay range of 30-38K depending on experience. Target start date would be early May.
