Job Listing: Medical Coder

Our client, a leading hospital in the Seattle area, is currently seeking a Medical Coder to work in their busy hospital.

The ideal candidate will need to be CPC certified. This person will also need to be up to date on current medical records coding because of the constant changing of codes.

Position requires expert medical records and coding knowledge, including disease processes, medical terminology and ICD9 and CPT4 coding systems. Effectively communicates with medical staff to resolve questions.

In this position you will analyze, codes, abstracts, and compiles clinic data. Supports and provides compliance and coding training to physicians, clinic personnel, and corporate auditing and billing staff. Responsible for reviewing patient documentation in order to assign the appropriate ICD-9-CMJCPT codes to diagnoses and procedures.

This position is a permanent direct placement position that will pay between $19.86-30.97/hr.
