Job Listing: Staff Accountant

STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Our client, a banking institution located in Granada hills, has an immediate need for a staff accountant.

This individual will be responsible for preparing and overseeing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Responsibilities include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, and expenses. This individual will also oversee the accounting staff and audit reports.

Major Job Duties include:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Balance complex accounts, prepare complex Federal, local, or State reports.
- Specialized or general analysis support in Loan Funding, ACH, Taxes, Property accounting, payroll, .
- Prepare specialized reports and analysis
- Develops and installs complex accounting methods

Job Requirements and qualifications:
- A/P and A/R experience
- Must have at least 3 years previous banking accounting experience
- Degree in Accounting discipline preferred, but not required
- Experience with Great Plains or Peachtree software preferred
