Job Listing: Accounting Manager
Volt is currently staffing an Accounting Manager for a growing IT consulting firm located in Redmond! The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the General Accounting and the Accounts Payable/Timekeeping teams. These teams are critical to the processing of monthly financial statements, with the majority of transactions originating from them. The role will have a strong focus on driving process and system improvements, as well as process documentation. The position will report directly to the Controller and will assist in managing the Finance and Accounting Department.

Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have: 8 to 10 years of accounting experience with a demonstrated record of consistent advancement into more complex and leadership roles; experience managing a team of professional accountants that have different levels of experience; an undergraduate degree is required in accounting; Certified Public Accountant or equivalent (may be inactive status) preferred; strong competency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint; must have experience with a large ERP system; experience with Peoplesoft a plus; combination of financial, operations, systems, and/or analytical experience is a plus; audit experience and international accounting experience both a plus.
