Job Listing: Lab Technician

Our client is looking for a Lab Technician with industry manufacturing experience from a plant environment. Experience in a plant environment should include one or more of the following: coatings, resins, speciality chemicals, pharmaceuticals or food. This candidate should have at least one year of industry lab experience. This person will have to be available to work off/on shifts and weekends as needed.

On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for assuring the quality of raw materials and finished goods in the Resins/uni prime plant. This candidate will also calculate production formulas for the blending operation. This individual will provide direction of production on material quality, in addition to authorizing product movement after completion of basic wet chemistry tests, and industry-specific tests such as spray outs/code outs.

To be qualified for this position, individuals should have industry manufacturing experience from a plant environment. This position does not require a degree, but a degree reflects relevant background. This position requires candidate to be flexible with on/off shifts and weekends. This is a long term contract with the possibility for permanent placement based on attendance and job performance.
