Job Listing: Laboratory Manager

Our client in the Fort Pierce, FL area is in search of a qualified Laboratory Manager

Requirements:

- Previous laboratory management/ supervisor experience
- BS Degree in an applicable science field
- 5+ years laboratory experience in a medical facility
- Experience managing laboratory operations

Responsibilities (NOT Limited To):

- Reviewing the work of employees and directing all phases of work in the laboratory department
- Manage laboratory operations on both the 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Responsible for scheduling and staffing on 2nd and 3rd shifts as well as technical responsibilities (when required)
- Ensuring customer service requirements are met, develop and write protocols, suggest and implement work flow/process improvements, ensure quality assurance requirements are met, and overseeing staff training
- They will need to have the ability to meet all state and local licensing requirements for the laboratory businesses
- Implementing safety programs
- Developing and monitoring different policies and procedures
