Job Listing: Pharmaceutical Lab Tech, Coatings

I have an immediate position available for a Pharmaceutical Lab Tech in the West Point, PA area.

Responsibilities:

- Working in the new product development group.

- You will be focused on coatings.

- There will be formulation work: Weighting, blending, dispersion, film coating using fluid bed and pan coaters.

- Running stability testing of coated activities: Disintegration, dissolution, gloss, moisture, color difference, surface roughness, and photostability.

- Running stability testing of powders: PH, viscosity, moisture, hydration, film casting and evaluation, and color difference, etc.

- This is NOT an analytical position

- Coatings are the main responsibility of this position.

- You will also be cleaning up the lab, filing, notebook keeping, maintaining spreadsheets, etc.

Qualifications:

- Must have a BS/BA in chemistry or a related science.

- No experience is required however you must know you way around a lab and be mechanically inclined.
