Teksystems has a client in the Greenville, Sc area to fill a contract to hire position available on their Lotus Notes Administration team.

Lotus Notes Administrator
Skills: 5+ years in Lotus Domino/Notes admin. & support, BSCS or related, CLP preferred
Length: Six months to perm.
Target Salary: $60K to $80K
Primary Job Function:
** Be the primary person responsible for end-to-end support of an auxiliary email environment geared for those working on select special projects (USEC/Secure Email).
** Be a key resource in the support of the Company's Groupware environment, providing Level 3 expertise and support for the general Lotus Notes/Domino systems throughout the company, with specific expertise for the on-going care and development of the global Notes based email system.

Key position responsibilities:
** End-to-end support of a small email environment, including trouble-shooting of issues and general operational support.
** Level 3 expertise and support for general Lotus Notes/Domino systems throughout the client's site, focusing on the global Notes based email system
** Ability to provide 24/7 support for server issues and outages when necessary
** Analysis of present and future IT hardware and software needs
** Management of IT initiatives and projects as necessary
** Must be able to meet security and background requirements as outlined by the project, including proof of US citizenship, rigorous background checks and other national security screening.

Experience and background
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable
5+ years of experience in Lotus Domino/Notes email administration and support
Strong experience and understanding of the Lotus Domino/Notes environment, including expertise with Replication, Mail Routing, WebMail/iNotes/DWA, SMTP Gateways, LotusScript, Agents, AdminP and other Admin Tasks.
Experience and expertise in monitoring a Domino environment, including use of server utilization and performance statistics. Experience with Domino system security, certifiers, encryption, configuration standards, version upgrades, problem and change management and overall system integrity.
Good general knowledge of networks, client/server architecture, hardware and software architecture, system support disciplines, client/server application development practices, and operating systems
Experience across multiple Operating Systems, specifically Windows 2003+ and AIX 5.3+
Understanding of best practices in maintaining a healthy Domino environment, with experience and understanding of high-availability designs and clustering
Experience with other Lotus products, such as Sametime and QuickR beneficial
Knowledge of Notes Desktop Management tools is beneficial
Understanding of Blackberry email support and Blackberry Enterprise Servers is beneficial
Lotus CLP (Certified Lotus Professional) certification is beneficial
Experience with Symantec Anti-Virus for Domino and Ironport anti-spam solution is beneficial
