Aerotek Engineering is seeking Project Engineers to support our client's System development needs. Typical System designs support Aerospace Component Test and
Project Engineers are responsible for the mechanical systems design, Hydraulic Systems design, and Instrumentation design.
Position will have five main areas of responsibility:
1. Design - The Project Engineer will review the parameters of the System design, recommend/design necessary Tooling, Equipment Layout, and design Hydraulic Circuits for the Test Equipment.
2. Project Management - The Project Engineer has fully authority/Project Responsibility for the Test System for which they are assigned - accountable for both Schedule and Budget
3. Equipment Check-Out - Project Engineer will work with the cognizant Electrical Engineer to set-up and calibrate equipment prior to testing the functionality of such. The Project Engineer will demonstrate the Test equipment to customers.
4. Field Start-Up - The Project Engineer is the best resource to travel to the customer sight and supervise the installation and start-up of the equipment. The Project Engineer will train the customer's personnel in the usage and calibration of the equipment.
5. Documentation: The Project Engineer maintains the engineering records on the equipment to allow it to be supported in the field and re-made in the future. The Project Engineer is the primary resource that generates the Operation and Maintenance manual that Bauer provides to its customer.
Educational Requirements
- BSME or BSEE with desired 3+yrs experience
