Job Listing: Senior SAP Payroll Config/Develop/Implem

TEKsystems in Sacramento, CA currently has two positions available for Senior SAP HR Payroll consultants to work on a large, complex project for a Public Sector entity in West Sacramento.

This individual should be very experienced with the SAP Payroll module, with at least 4+ Full-Life-Cycle Implementations already completed, including Configuration of the Payroll, not just usage or support of it.

This individual should be fully capable of configuring the Payroll module from the beginning, including Payroll (PY) integration with Time Management (TM). This person should also have strong prior experience setting up complex customized Rules and Schemas in PY. Any Public Sector experience would be considered a plus, but it not strictly required. This person should be both Functional and Technical, able to take the project all the way through the BluePrinting stage, initial Configuration stage, Development stage, and Implementation and subsequent support stages. Being adaptable to other areas beyond initial job duties would be a plus in term of possible extension(s). This is the second largest SAP implementation effort in the country right now, so many other roles are potentially available after initial role is completed. Initial contract is scheduled from ASAP through to July 31, 2008, but there is a good chance to extend beyond that based on performance and visibility within the project well into 2009.

The initial phases of the contract will be primarily focused on interpersonal interaction and communication, so superb communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary for this role. This position is set to begin asap. TEKsystems cannot reimburse for any travel nor expenses - billable hours only.
