Job Description: Sr. Project Manager-will be focused on hydro-optimization program in a lead role in all activities around project coordination, communication, tracking, budget, working with the business needs & drivers as well as technical implementation....basically staying on top of all activities & issues related to software & systems & vendors; the river/hydro-optimization program is a SCADA (Supervisory Controls and Data Acquisition) related project with Maine Power unit.

Roughly 80% sitting in Augusta ME, 20% travel to Florida; reporting directly to VP of IT; need 10-15 years experience managing large projects across a variety of technologies covering applications/infrastructure/communications.....an IT generalist; SCADA & energy industry knowledge a big plus but NOT required
Technical Environment: SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Java
Technical Skills: 10-15 years in IT project management, working on large projects reporting to VP level
They are looking for experience leading software implementations, homegrown or out of the box; for #2 someone who has been a PM on typical servers, networking gear, telecom issues, dealing with vendors & their corp. IT/telecom team on issues. For the LEED stuff….no experience in that or building construction is required….just someone who can coordinate all these issues and report to management.
As discussed, the qualifications for the PM should include project management experience with the following:
1. new software installation
2. IT infrastructure changes
As we are also considering green building options, we would also like this person to handle managing the certification process designed under LEEDs.
This may include, among other things, managing the following activities
- development of project schedule for "green" construction (outside of landlord scope)
- manage construction process, provide oversight for green additions (outside of landlord scope)
- coordinate between landlord, company team, and "green" vendors
- overseeing the LEEDs process, including final submittal package for certification
