Job Listing: Senior Network Engineer

Our client, one of the world's leading supplier of networking equipment and network management for the Internet, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to come on board for an exciting and rewarding challenge.

On a day-to-day basis, you will successfully manage customer relationships, support delivery of service program to major customers, perform analysis and diagnosis of medium complexity networking problems, perform analysis of complex network designs, build simulated networks in test labs to resolve medium complexity problems and compatibility issues, conform to service delivery of Advanced Services standards, support delivery of service program to customers, perform analysis of complex network designs, question ways of working and suggests improvements, provide remote or onsite deployment support, perform analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems, perform analysis of highly complex network designs, and build simulated networks in test labs to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues.

To be qualified for this position, you must be knowledgeable in one or more of the following: IP Internetworking, IBM inter networking, LAN Switching, ATM, WAN Expertise & Voice technologies, IP Telephony, SAN, CDN, Optical, Wireless, IPCC, Unified Comms, AON, Contact Center, and Internetworking troubleshooting experience. You should also be knowledgeable of Advanced Services type model deliverables and expectations, undertake support as designated Advanced Services engineer for a small to medium-scale network, network design skills, ability to leverage technical expertise of others, possess leading edge technology design skills, knowledge of network management, network availability and capacity planning, installation and cabling standards, health and safety standards, expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment, undertake support as designated Advanced Services engineer for large-scale networks, and must possess strong technical account management.

Candidates need to at least have the written portion of CCIE certification or 6 to 8+ years of experience in networking engineering or has worked in a telecommunications support environment.

This position is scheduled as a 1-year contract that could go permanent after 1-year based on job performance. Since this is an immediate opening, candidates will need to be able to personally interview within 24 hours.
