Job Listing: Hardware Engineer

Large Defense contractor is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to join their Colorado Springs team in the development and installation of new radar systems into pre-existing military radar systems.

The Hardware Engineer will develop, design, test, analyze and produce equipment to replace and upgrade existing radar systems. The Hardware Engineer will be part of the upgrade from analyzing existing equipment to the deploy of the re-designed sub-systems into the existing radar system.

This job will require that the Engineer be experienced with the design and development of RF, interface, and analog circuitry as well as experience in system prototyping, hardware performance testing, and installation and verification of electronic equipment.

Ideal candidate will display a broad range of design work to include analog design, UHF medium power RF design, PCB schematic capture, and layout software like Altium Protel. Knowledge of high-speed digital design, digital synthesis, RF components, receivers, transmitters, radars, and RF test equipment is highly desirable.
