Job Listing: Senior Data Analyst

TEKsystems is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to work with one of their largest clients in Jacksonville, Florida. Qualified candidates should only apply.

Description:
Data Analysts are needed for the Enterprise Information and Analytics group the “W"(Warehouse). This position is a Senior Data Analyst who will analyze data in the “W” to ensure data quality and consistency.

*The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and validating data in the “W” for a large data integrity initiative

*Responsible for running reports on current data accuracy and reporting results

*Perform Data Mining to discover any Data Anomalies

*Perform SQL loads to Teradata in a production environment (5-6 tables in Teradata)

*Must have strong SQL skills

*Strong Data Analysis skills

*Teradata a plus but not required


Initial assessments of the data will be run using flat files converted to an MS Access to determine data integrity. From here data anomalies should be detected through Data Mining and Data Profiling to discover Root Causes of Data inaccuracies. The analyst will converse with the business partner to determine corrective action before loading the clean data into the Warehouse, which is a huge Teradata Database. Must be skilled in complex SQL statements as they will be extracting from production system.
