SECURITY OFFICER / EMERGENCY DISPATCHER

Our client, a medical facility in West Los Angeles, has an immediate need for a Security Officer / Dispatcher

This individual will be responsible for monitoring security cameras, issuing guest passes for visitors, and dispatching police to various locations if needed.

Job Responsibilities:

- Monitoring SSTV security system and cameras
- Receive and respond to over 150 telephone calls and over 500 radio transmissions a day
- Issuing visitor and guest passes
- Responding to emergency situations
- Monitor access to building
- Dispatch and coordinating police to appropriate locations
- Generate tabulated report of data via computer
- Assign lunch periods

Job Qualifications and requirements

- Knowledge of computer program
- Knowledge of time lapse tape recorder, pan-tilt and zoom surveillance cameras, motion detector alarms.
- Must pass background and drug test
- Must be able to work rotating shifts
