Job Listing: Solid Waste Department Manager

Aerotek E&E is currently seeking a Solid Waste Department Manager for their Asheville, NC based client. Client is a multi disciplinary Civil Engineering firm with multiple offices throughout the region.

Job Requirements:
-Qualified Solid Waste Engineers must have at least 7 years of experience pertaining to Solid Waste Project Management and design.
-Solid Waste Engineers should have considerable experience and working knowledge in all aspects of the planning, design and permitting of and maintenance of solid waste facilities.
-Solid Waste Engineers must be experienced in air regulatory compliance (major and minor source facilities), state and federal air regulations, permit applications and modifications, Risk Management Program implementation (including Process Hazard Analysis), and air pollution control design.
-Experience in water regulatory compliance (OPA, SPCC, SWPPP, CWA, and NPDES), stormwater and wastewater permitting, wastewater treatment and oil/water separation design.
-Experience with landfill permitting pertaining to cell design, transfer station design.
-Solid Waste Engineers should have proven leadership ability, be self motivated and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
-PE registration is required and experience with AutoCAD is preferred.

Salary will range from $90,000 to $110,000 based on experience.
