Job Listing: Graphic Designer

TEKsystems is partnered with a client in the Durham who that is in need of a Junior level Graphic Artist/Designer that would be responsible for creating and producing visual solutions that meet the marketing and business needs of clients, and partners. This project will last 6-9 months. This person will be using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness, this position will manage the creative concept and execution of print and electronic, internal and external marketing communications design needs such as design templates for licensed artwork, traditional web and interactive media, brochures, and print/online advertisements. Independently, partnering with creative agencies, and taking direction from the Director of Marketing. The Graphic Designer will execute the timely delivery of creative communications that are sophisticated, visually compelling and on strategy to enhance the image and identity of its partners, and customers, based upon the audience and medium. We are looking for someone who has 3-5 years of experience in graphic design and who is proficient in adobe Photoshop and illustrator.

This position requires a college degree in either graphic design, design, information design or an art degree.

Must be able to provide a portfolio of previous projects.
