Job Listing: Japanese Translator

Our client, a manufacturer of motorcycle seats, and has grown to become a global supplier of automobile seats and interiors, with operations in a total of 57 locations in 11 countries is looking for a Japanese Translator.

On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for translating written material and must be able to read and understand the selection to be sure the translation will follow the overall meaning of the original. This individual must be able to follow the rules of a sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, and the general style of the original author as well as word meanings. The interpreter will occasionally provide consecutive translation of spoken language. If there are any questions, the interpreter listens to the question in the second language and then translates it into the first language. They may also be required to provide simultaneous translation.

Since this is an immediate opening, individuals will need to be able to personally interview within 24 hours.
