Job Listing: Civil Engineer - Transportation

We are a multi-disciplinary Civil Engineering Firm with more than 15 offices throughout the western portion of the United States. Our services include Land Development, Transportation, Land Survey, Water Resources, Structural, Planning, and Architecture. With a staff of over 600 employees we have established an excellent client base that has allowed us to remain among the top engineering firms in the nation.

We are currently seeking to make an addition to our Transportation Team. We have an opening for an engineer with 2-5 years of experience working on Transportation related projects. This engineer will be responsible for the design of roadway alignments, profile grades, reports for freeways, prepare technical report for development of transportation projects and calculate quantities for engineering estimates. The transportation engineer will also be responsible for the day to day contact and communication with clients in an effort to provide ultimate satisfaction. Projects will include the design of highways, airports, streets, roads, freeways, utility facilities, and other projects related to transportation.

The most qualified Transportation engineer will have a degree in Engineering (civil or a related discipline) and will have experience working on transportation related projects. It is highly required that this engineer have experience working under Caltrans specifications and codes, along with knowledge and experience with AASHTO, and other pertinent highway design specifications. Proficiency with AutoCAD is a must, Microstation experience is a plus but is not required. Knowledge of GIS and Microsoft Office programs is required.
