ENGINEERING MANAGER Description:
Aerotek has a client who is looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

***QUALIFIED CANDIDATE MUST BE A PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER WITH A MINIMUM OF 15 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND A MINIMUM OF 10 YEARS OF INDUSTRIAL PROJECT EXPERIENCE***

ENGINEERING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Will be Managing a large group of project managers, engineering specialists, internal functional experts, and a wide variety of multi-functional, multi-disciplinary external consultants and contractors.

*Will be held accountable for the costs and schedule associated with the project, including regularly working with business sponsors and customers to change execution strategies and/or tactics to optimize the commercial benefit of the project to the company.

*Will implement and be responsible to ensure that the project is in compliance with regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements.

*Will be fully accountable for the quality, cost, scope and schedules of all work performed by internal resources, consultants and contractors.

*Will ensure compliance with Project Procedures, design standards (includes providing recommendations for improvements), regulatory requirements and leads coordination of project regulatory and right of way permitting applications.

ENGINEERING MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
*Must have a professional engineer with a minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible project experience.

*Must have a minimum of 10 years of industrial project management experience, preferably energy related, and relevant people leadership experience.

*Must an engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with extensive demonstrated experience in managing large, complex projects involving a number of internal and external stakeholders.

*Ideal candidate will have previous experience on pipeline construction projects.
