Job Listing: Network Administrator

Our growing medical client is looking for an experienced Server and Storage Administrator to join their team. This position is responsible for effectively and efficiently installing, configuring, monitoring, maintaining and upgrading our clients server-based hardware platforms, operating systems and technical environments. The position requires participation on projects that require new server installations or upgrades to existing server hardware and/or operating systems.

This positions is also responsible for effectively and efficiently installing, configuring, monitoring, maintaining and upgrading storage area networks in both production and development environments, as well as ensuring the appropriate backups, restores, and disaster recovery plans are in place for their data stores. This position requires 24 X 7 support of assigned systems.

As a Secondary responsibility the Server Storage Administrator will provide backup coverage Domain Administrator for non-supervisory issues.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field of study is required (equivalent work experience in information technology, minimum of 5 years, accepted in place of Bachelors)
- Minimum of five (5) years overall experience in an information technology support role is required
- Minimum of three (3) years work experience with server hardware as mentioned throughout the above job description
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in designing, scheduling and performing data backups, restores and recoveries.
