Job Listing: Applications Manager

Our client in Lexington is seeking an Application Manager for an integrations project. The AD Manager is also responsible for maintaining, supporting and upgrading existing systems and applications. The manager will server as the bridge between the IT managers and developers. They are seeking a hands on, technical manager.


Requirements:

Minimum 10 years experience in the following areas:

Management of teams consisting of 10 or more technical developers
Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions
Strong technical development and design skills
Experience managing applications across different IT platforms

Familiarity with the Following:

Relational Database (Oracle 10g)s; SQL, Stored procedures, odbc/jdbc
Java, Perl Scripting, C/C++, Java Swing,
Unix, scripting
Informatica or other ETL Powercenter is used v.8
Plus is HL7-Healthcare Level 7 standards, EDI X12 or XML
tcp/ip, SNA, FTP, lpd, protocols
Postscript, PCL formats

Healthcare experience is a plus.
