Job Listing: Molecular Biologist

A large research and development company in Wilmington, DE is looking for qualified Molecular Biologists.

The position will involve cloning and expressing peptide-encoding genes,
engineering expression hosts at the plasmid and chromosomal levels in E. coli, and purifying and characterizing peptides that are expressed.

Candidates must have either a M.S. in molecular biology or related experience plus some laboratory research experience or experience consistent with a M.S. Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental molecular biology and microbial genetic techniques. Demonstrated ability to conduct experimental work with minimal supervision. Knowledge and skills to conduct molecular biology experimental work, analyze and interpret the data and suggest modifications along with managing day-to-day laboratory operations. Demonstrated ability to adhere to protocols and produce precise documentation of experimental work. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate experimental work in small and large groups. Demonstrated critical thinking and troubleshooting ability. Demonstrated a goal-driven approach to research.
