***Our Client is a leader in crude oil and natural gas transportation, gathering, and processing, has an immediate opening for a Project Controls Engineer (Scheduler)in Eau Claire, WI***

Project Controls Engineer(Scheduler) JOB SUMMARY:

***This position will facilitate the research, collection, consolidation, analysis and distribution of cost/schedule and other project management information and provide direction and recommendations to the engineering department related to project management processes, policies, procedures and guidelines.***

PROJECT CONTROLS ENGINEER (SCHEDULER) RESPONSIBILITIES:

**Prepare capital & operating cost estimates and budgets for projects, and conduct variance analysis for complex, multi-disciplined capital projects;

**Develop and monitor project schedule and provide other control systems to manage the schedule.

**Provide project cost control including managing scope changes, actual costs, earned value & forecasts.

**Prepare expenditure profile, work force histograms and comparative capital cost estimates for projects;

**Establish consistent methods for risk management identification and assessment;

**Identify, evaluate, analyze, recommend and coordinate efforts of consultants for project management;

PROJECT CONTROLS ENGINEER (SCHEDULER) QUALIFICATIONS:

**Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Management discipline.

**5+ years experience in Project Planning and Controls. May consider candidates with an equivalent combination of a related university degree and relevant experience.

**Oil/gas industry experience desirable.

**Proven problem solving, analytical, decision making, organizational, planning and leadership skills.

**Experience in MS Projects, Primavera (They use P5), Access, or Timberline would be an asset.

**Excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical presentations and report writing.
