Job Listing: Book Buyer -
This position will be responsible for managing the retail merchandise process for assigned categories by ensuring that product planning and selection, display, distribution, logistics, and life cycle management are performed in a way to create compelling merchandise assortments that are consistent with the customer, and the financial goals and strategies of the company. Maximize the value of the company's retail merchandise business.
Required Skills
Bachelors degree or equivalent in related field.
3+ years of retail buying or retail operations experience, with 2 years dedicated to a buying responsibility.
Proven track record in a geographically dispersed retail organization, and demonstrated merchandising skills.
Knowledge of store operations, distribution, and logistics.
Must have experience with purchasing books and magazines for a multiple retail stores.
